The short version
- You don’t need an account, and we never ask for your Instagram login.
- We don’t sell personal data.
- We don’t keep the names, interests or texts you type into the generators.
- Favourites are stored only in your own browser.
- Visitor statistics are aggregated and don’t include your IP address.
What you type into the tools
The font generator converts your text entirely inside your browser; it is not sent to our server.
When you use the bio generator or the username generator, the name, interests or keyword you enter and the options you choose are sent to our server, used to build your results and then discarded. They are not written to our database or logs.
Visitor and usage statistics
We count page views, the page visited, the referring website (for example a search engine), and your device type, browser family and — only when the site is served through Cloudflare — your country. To count unique visitors per day we combine your IP address and browser identifier with a random value that changes every day and store only the resulting one-way hash; the hashes are deleted within two days, and the IP address itself is never stored.
To see which tools and styles are useful we count tool usage: for example “a bio was generated in the Attitude category”, “the Bold font was copied” or “a username was generated in the Gaming style”, together with the language, device type and date. We do not store the names, keywords, bios, texts or usernames you enter or generate.
Technical and security data
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page and browser) for security and troubleshooting. To prevent abuse we also keep short-lived counters per IP address. If an error occurs, we log a technical description of it with personal details such as e-mail and IP addresses automatically removed.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Session cookie (
PHPSESSID) — holds a random security token that protects the generators from abuse. It expires when you close your browser. - Browser storage — bios, styled texts and usernames you save as favourites are kept in your browser’s local storage only. They never leave your device; clearing your browser data removes them.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts — the site’s typeface is loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- Hosting provider — stores the website and its server logs.
How long we keep data
- Tool-usage and error records: 90 days.
- Daily visitor hashes: up to 2 days.
- Aggregated statistics (counts only): kept for trend reporting.
- E-mails you send us: as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to processing and to complain to a data-protection authority. Because we avoid storing identifiers, we usually hold no data that can be linked to you — but if you contact us we will help. Our legal basis for statistics and security processing is our legitimate interest in running a reliable, secure service.
Children
BioStylish.in is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
